Don Chapman
Chief Executive Officer

Don Chapman takes the reins as Chief Executive Officer at G3? in Winnipeg after several career steps around the world.

Don graduated from the MacQuarrie Graduate School of Management in Sydney, Australia with a Master of Business Administration. He spent several years building and leading major businesses in the agriculture industry in Germany, Singapore and USA.

Don has held senior leadership roles at Toepfer International, Viterra and the Vitol Group where he was Global Head of Agriculture. He was most recently Executive Vice President International at Lansing Trade Group. He is excited to be back in Canada, in his hometown Winnipeg.



Brita Chell
Chief Financial Officer

Brita Chell is Chief Financial Officer of G3? and is responsible for all treasury matters including funding, credit and financial risk management and all accounting activities including the completion of year-end financial statements. In addition, she leads the information and technology functions.  Brita is part of G3 Canada Limited's executive team, playing a lead role on all financial matters as well as strategic planning and other initiatives.

Brita has more than 25 years of operational and financial experience, and joined G3 as Chief Financial Officer upon the commercialization of the former Canadian Wheat Board (CWB) in July 2015. Brita joined CWB in August of 2001 as Vice-President of Accounting and served as Chief Financial Officer since 2005. Prior to this, Brita held various senior financial roles with Agricore Co-operative and Manitoba Pool Elevators. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Manitoba and has a Chartered Accountant designation having placed fourth in Manitoba in 1987.

Brita is a member of Financial Executives International Canada ?and has served as chapter president. She also sits on a number of boards, and currently serves as director for the Winnipeg Airport Authority and chair of the ?Finance and ?Human ?Resources ?Committee for St. Amant Inc. She is also a member and shared ministry co-chair of the Joint Anglican Lutheran Commission, a national committee of the two denominations.



Don MacDonald
Vice-President, Operations

Don MacDonald is Vice-President, Operations for G3? and is responsible for all G3 country and port terminal assets in Canada.

Don has more than 35 years of experience in operational and sales roles in the Canadian agricultural sector. Don joined G3 at its inception as the President of Mission Terminal, Inc., a subsidiary of the former Canadian Wheat Board (CWB). Don has also held senior roles with Parrish & Heimbecker, Viterra, Agricore United, Agricore and Manitoba Pool Elevators.  Don holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from the University of Manitoba.

Born in Virden, Manitoba, Don grew up in Hamiota, Manitoba, where his father ran the local elevator and managed a farm operation. Don spent his early years helping out in the elevator and on the farm, and has always participated in the community and continues to coach kids’ sports.

Throughout his career, Don has been active in industry organizations supporting agriculture.



Janice Watson
Vice-President, Human Resources

Janice Watson is the Vice-President?, Human Resources for G3? and is responsible for developing the strategy and overseeing the implementation of all human resource programs and policies including compensation, benefits, performance management, recruitment, employee relations and training and development.  ?As a member of G3's executive team, ?Janice participates in the development and implementation of ?G3's corporate strategic direction and the development of other corporate initiatives. 

Janice has 15 years of human resource and operational experience, and joined G3 ?in her current role in July 2015. Prior to joining G3, Janice was the Regional Human Resources Manager at Bunge, and also held various senior HR roles with Cancade Company in Brandon, Manitoba and Viterra and Can-Oat Milling in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.  Janice also has experience in the finance industry and worked with MNP as a consultant and with CIBC as a Commercial Business and Agriculture Account Manager.  

She has obtained her Human Resource Management Certification and Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation.  Janice is also a member of the Human Resource Management Association of Manitoba (HRMAM).  Prior to this, she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science from the University of Manitoba and completed three years of a four year program of Bachelor of Human Ecology majoring in Foods and Nutrition. 



Brett Malkoske
Vice-President, Business Development ?& Communications

Brett Malkoske is Vice-President Business Development ?& Communications at G3? and is responsible for facilitating the development and execution of G3’s strategic plans in Canada as well as external communications.

Brett joined G3 from Bunge Canada in July 2015, where he served as Director, Business Development and Corporate Strategy since February 2013. Brett began his career with Agricore United in 2004 as a Financial Analyst, before moving to Viterra in 2007 where he held increasingly senior roles in Corporate Development with a specific focus on corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and international development. Just prior to joining Bunge Canada, Brett served as Director, International Operations for Viterra based in Singapore, where he assisted in growing Viterra’s overseas trading and operations presence in emerging markets around the world.

Brett was raised in the farming community of Whitemouth, Manitoba. He received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the I.H. Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba in 2004, and subsequently his Chartered Business Valuator designation in 2010.



Thomas Price, P. Eng.
Vice-President, Project Planning & Engineering

Tom Price is Vice-President, Project Planning & Engineering of G3? and is responsible for all project matters including planning, scope development, engineering and execution of all G3 projects. ?As part of G3 Canada Limited’s executive team, Tom plays a lead role on all project and engineering matters as well as strategic planning and other initiatives. 

Tom has more than 37 years of project and engineering experience and joined G3 ?in his current role in July 2015. Prior to this, Tom ?served as Senior Project Manager with Bunge Canada since August 2014 and has held various senior roles with Richardson International, Agricore United, United Grain Growers, UMA Engineering and Cargill Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Engineering) degree from the University of Manitoba and was awarded the Gold Medal in Agricultural Engineering upon graduating in 1978.  Tom is a registered Professional Engineer in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta. He has been a member of the Canadian Society of Bioengineering since 1978.

Tom is also a long time member of GEAPS (Grain Elevator and Processing Society), and served as International President (06/07) and board chair for two years.
